Ready When You Are Chicken!

Especially as the holidays approach, some days I need something that's ready when I get home, so this is one of my "go-to" meals that everyone likes!
Chicken Ingredients:
2 onions, cut into chunks
2-3 lemons, cut into chunks
1 roasting chicken (~4 lbs)
4 tsp salt
2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions:
Place half of the lemon and onion into the bottom of the slow cooker.
Rinse chicken, and set into the slow cooker.
Mix all dry ingredients together and rub onto and inside the chicken.
Place the other half of the lemon and onion on top of the chicken.
Cover, and set the slow cooker to cook for 6-8 hours.
No extra water needed, the chicken will baste itself. May be made 1-2 days ahead and reheated.
